last day!

Hi! It's Megumi Murakami!
Actually, I'm now writing this diary in Japan.
I'm sooooo sleepy and fighting with jet lug now..:(
So, please understand even if I make some mistakes of writing. lol

In the morning of August 23th, we received some feed backs of classes from teachers.
We looked back our first presentations about Japanese culture, practice presentations
about Valentino Chocolates, and final presentations of each company.
I think all we could develop some skills of presentations through those activities.

And in the evening of that day, we had a farewell party at Harbor Tower Hotel!
All we were dressed up in beautiful formal clothes.
We enjoyed tasty buffet at the hotel so much!

Next early morning, we left UVic for Japan!

I miss Canada so much!><
I'll never forget this special experience in Victoria forever!
I think we are the luckiest students to study in UVic!
Thank you, UVic!!!:D

Hi!!!!

Today is Sunday!!
So, we enjoyed our own holiday!!

In the morning, we went to DownTown.
I bought souvenirs to my parents.

In the afternoon, we played soccer.
We enjoyed soccer soooooo much!!

Today is also happy day!!!
I miss I will go back to Japan on Tuesday!!!

Aug. 20 & 21

I am sorry for not upload blog yesterday.
We did final presentation and get tired...

So I will write for 2 days again. lol


Aug 20

As I wrote before,
We had a final presentation.
My business is " Victoria Carriage Tours."
This time, we change group member,
so I did without B team members.

Anyway, Our business group did practice so much on 19th.
So We get tired on 20th...
However we did great presentation, I think.
Actually, We had some mistakes,
but they were not big problem.
The important thing is that
we think presentation was great.
And I think it was great so it is OKAY!!!

After presentation, I got much tiredness and get sleep to much...


Aug 21

We went to Vancouver by ourselves.
Everyone got nervous
but class leader, Natsumo lead us to there.
There are great for looking, great foods,
and some interesting store so we wear shopping almost all time.

We spend about 5 hrs to get there.
I do not know we have more faster way to get there,
but anyway we spend great time at there,
so have no problem~

We can stay here for just 2days,
so I try to spend time more carefully ...

Tomorrow will be the final presentation.
So everyone prepared for the presentation so hard.

Today, we made visuals and practice presentation.
Our bisiness is The Empress Hotel.
And after the classs, we practiced again and again.

Tomorrow, I want to try my best.

Aug 18

Today is the middle of the week.
We have only one week left!!
I'm very sad, but there a little tiny bit missing for Japan.

By the way, We are gonig to do final presentation the day after tomorrow.
So all of us is making an afford to prepare for it.
We'll do our best in the final presentation.

After school, I went to Downown to see the illumination with my friends.
It was very very beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so impressed.

I'm looking forward to doing the final presentation.

AUG. 17th

Good Evening!

We only have a week more for staying Victoria.
I'm so sad....

Today, We took class from morning to noon.
Our final presentation will be on Friday.
We do not have much time to prepare for it.
So in class, we prepare for it.
And also we did after class,
and get done today's work by 8 pm today.

After that, I went to the top of hill with friends.
It is because we can see stars so beautiful at there.
We could see shooting stars, and other cool one.
We can not see those in Japan,
Specially, near the Tokyo...

So it was great experience for me.

I want to go there again until I get back to the Japan.

Aug 16th

Hi! I'm Megumi.

Today was a really hot day!
It is quite different from last week!!!
We don't need any jackets these days!:(

Today in the class, we began to organize final presentations.
That includes mission statements, backgrounds of each company,
results of our interview and survey, and some recommendations...
Anyway, it is a really hard work!
Even though we face difficulty when we make presentations in Japanese,
now we should be more struggling because we are making them in English!!!
Next Friday, we'll do our presentation in front of our classmates.

Personally speaking, I ate some Japanese food again at night.
Today I ate Japanese shoyu ramen. It was fabulous!
Also, I was talking about my elementary school days with my friends at the lounge.
We did some good old games like Magical Banana! :)

Hi!!!

Today is Sunday!!
We enjoyed our each day!!

In the afteroon, we went to Downtown.
We enjoyed shopping.
We went to sports shop, and I bought soccer goods.

Next, we went to GYM to enjoy sports.
I played badminton and soccer.

At night, we were tired of our homework.
However, we did the best!!

Today is happy day!!!

Aug.13th & 14th

Hello!!

First, sorry for did not write blog yesterday.
So I write about today and YESTERDAY!

Aug. 13th

We did practice presentation about
"How to use 1.5 million euros for the Valentino Chocolate company
to become International company."
It was second time to do presentation in Uvic.
And Everyone did better English presentation than presentation in Japan.
I think that is because we got skill of English and presentation.
I was so grad about that!!

After that, we went to gym to play some sports.
Almost all Rikkyo students came to play.
I played soccer, basketball, and squash ball.
I know about squash ball, but it is not popular in Japan,
so everyone was interesting about squash ball.
It was so fun to play!!!
I recommend everyone to play squash ball least one time!!

Then, we went to BBQ activity!!
We got hamburgers, chips, pops, and cakes.
Also Great musics were played.
some one were dancing.

We spend great time in 13th.

Aug. 14th

I woke up at 7am
because I have to go to company of
"Victoria Carriage Tours"
to interview about them.
We will do final presentation about them.

after we did interview,
we were shopping and eat lunch at "Local kitchen."
We can stay here for just 10 more days.
So we try to find souvenir to some one.

After that, we had a program to go to The Butchart Garden.
There ware great view.
And also there ware " Japanese garden written 日本庭園"
We felt Japan in the Canada♪

At PM9:15,
Fireworks were started.
That was so great!!!!
We all excited to see it!!!
It was little difference between Japanese one to Canadian one.
But I cannot explain in word, sorry.

anyway, We spend great time again.

We spend great time in Canada everyday.
It is so good thing.

I hope we can spend great time last 10 days.

☆Hello☆

Today I practiced a prsentation with my team memmbers after class.
Because in tomoorrow, we will have to perfom our presentation.

The topic is an overseas expansion of chocolate company.
Researching and preparing data in English were difficult for me,
but I'm happy to live a full life in Uvic!

I will try to be tenacious tomorrow class.

AUG 11th

Hello!!!

Today is the middle of the week, so I'm tired, and also all of them is the same as me probably.
However, I think that each member really made a good job in their classes, of course, me too.

In the afternoon, we had very valuable experience.
It was the seminor which taken place by the two companies in Canada.
We heard some interesting stories and knew new philosophy of business.

After school, I went to the shop which handles Japanese foods!!
It was really fun, and I oddly feel homesick for Japanese foods.

Finally, I want to go back Japan as soon as possible・・・・just kidding!!

AUG. 10th

Hi!!

We already spend over a week in the Victoria.
It is to fast for me, probably for all.

Today, we did exercise after classes, around 2 to 4pm.
We could do soccer, volleyball, badminton and playing catch.
I did playing catch and went buck to my room
because I was so tired.
We did exercise almost everyday...

After that, we did homework with teamate.
Some classmates feel tired from now on,
so we should think our health more carefully
and will spend great time in here!!

Aug 9th

Hello!

Today was the beginning of the second week!

In the first class, we made small presentations to
practice for the final business presentation!
Even though it was just a small presentation,
I got nervous :( I think I need some improvement...

We'll also ask some companies about the companies' business,
so we chose some question in the class today.
I'm really looking forward to meeting them!

By the way, today was very very cold...
I could not put up with this severe cold any more,
so I decided to buy a UVic parka!
I bought blue one. I really like it!

At night, some students gathered in the lounge and
ate some Japanese foods which we bought in downtown.
For example, Koara no march, Ottotto, Akai kitsune...and so on.
They were specially delicious than usual! :)

Hi,

Today is Sunday, so in the morning
I went to Sunday market with my friends.

They had very unique things,　
so there were many people.

In the afternoon,
we went to Chinese restaurant for lunch.
We enjoyed having very delicious food.

Next, we went to the sea.
Its view is very beautiful, so I went there again.

Today is beautiful day!!!

AUG. 7th

Hi,
Today is first weekend in Uvic,
and also first rainy day, too.

I take program called "Tea for Two."
I grad to take this program
because almost all classmates want to take it,
but there are just 18 people space for this program,
so teacher choose members who can take it.
I got win!! It's so lucky~~

In Tea for Two program,
Canadian women pick me and mizuki.
Then she brought us many place
that are great view of sea or town.

After that we talk about ourselves, about Victoria, and, meaningless contents.
That is so great opportunity to talk English and learn foreign country cultures.

Then in afternoon, we went to gym for exercising.
We played basketball, soccer, badminton....etc
We all had good time of exercise with many people..
And probably we all got tired...... so I think we sleep long time today...

Hi, today we went to ROYAL BC MUSEUM after 2 classes!

There are loooots of exhibits attaching to a history of British Columbia.
I saw 5 or 6 big totem pole there! they had very unique faces.（☆u☆）

After the museum, I walk around downtown.
This was third time to went to downtown, but the street scene still made me fun!!
Then, I found a chocolate store and ate some strawberries with chocolate on it.
It was very good tasting!:)


I want to find a wounderful discovery more and more in douwtown!!

Hi!(^^)!

Today is the third day in Uvic!
From 8:30 to 10:20, we took a presentation class.
We learned about general culture and business culture in Canada!!

From 10:40 to 12:30, we took a writing class.
We were divided four group and talk about each topic with group member!

After classes,we went to DOWNTOWN（●＾o＾●）
Going to DOWNTOWN was sooooo fun!!!!
DOWNTOWN was very beautiful and people were so friendly!!
We enjoyed taking picture ,shopping and eating ice cream together♪
Iwant to go DOWNTOWN again★☆

Hi!!!

Today, we had the first class of Uvic.
We had two classes which are presentation and writing, so we have two teachers.

Both teachers are funny:)
we had writing test that is like short essey about "why did you choose business class" and about English skill! i think my essey was soso.

in presentation class we had presentation that we prepate in semister. that was also soso. because pc was in trouble . Teachers seemed to be interested in our presentation.
